Selecting

As with all melons, let your nose be the judge!
Melons ripen after harvest and DOLE Winter Honeydew Melons are shipped in controlled temperature conditions so that they arrive in your store fresh and fragrant. You’ll recognize the honeydew by its attractive fragrance and creamy white rind.

Storing

If your melon is slightly under-ripe and hard when you buy it, just let it stand in room temperature (out of sunlight) for a day or two. Wash thoroughly before cutting or slicing and always refrigerate any pieces left over.

Eating

Naturally delicious when eaten as a wedge; great when added to fruit salads.
